F.B.L Quick Tip #12

Never fill in your whole brow - only the gaps.
Also, don't change the  natural place where your brows 'peak'

Matalan Lingerie

A girl can never have too many pairs of matching bras and panties right?

As much as I adore going into a luxury lingerie store, the prices are defiantly not something I particularly like - however nice that set is or even how well it may fit. Therefore, I decided to visit Matalan. I had looked at their website and was surprised with what they had with the different styles and colours they had to offer. Now this is not somewhere I would ever really consider going to for lingerie but I am so glad I took the chance!

I bought the Lace Balconette Bra. This is a nude shade with floral lace covering the majority of the cups which then goes into a mesh like material for the back straps. It also has a bow in the middle of the cups and at the top of the straps. One thing I adore about this bra is, attached to the bow, a small piece of silver with 2 small crystals. It is so cute! These also really catch the light and give a nice sparkle.

To go with this bra, I bought the No VPL Lace Trim Brazilian Knickers. This are the exact same shade as the bra so make a matching set perfectly! The lace trim on the back very similar too and it also gives an otherwise plain pair of knickers into something a little sexier, as I feel lace is always sexy! Also, as they are no VPL, they can be worn under pretty much any outfit. The material is so soft and so comfortable to wear too.

What do you think of Matalan's lingerie collection? Its defiantly worth a look!

Don't know what to wear?
Chose monochrome as it is the easiest trend to wear and will automatically make you look smart and classy

Veet #feelfemmefatale

Veet is one of my personal favourite hair removal creams, as they are so easy and quick to use and actually do they job they are intended for! I generally stick to the creams and wax strips for sensitive skin as they defiantly suit my skin better than those for normal skin types. They also probably smell the best of all of the hair removal creams there are, but are course they don't smell brilliant but it does they job! The sensitive skin creams contain Aloe Vera and vitamin E, which are both known for soothing. This means when using this cream your are not only left with smooth, but silk like skin.

Their website is also full of useful tips on how to use each of their products. It is also full of information for first time users. This is something that is so helpful and I think many more other product websites should contain this.

As I am user of Veet products, I was so excited when I saw they were holding a competition called #FeelFemmeFatale. This is to encourage woman to show of their inner femme fatale. For anyone who isn't aware a femme fatale is confident and captivating, also seen as seductive and mysterious. Also known for showing of that oh-so-silky leg. For Veet's competition they are asking to upload your best femme fatale photo and have to opportunity to have a photoshoot in Paris and to seen on a Parisian billboard. Also each week, a photo is chosen for a gift box reward. This is something I knew I had to enter so I uploaded one of my photos that I feel is femme fatale but maybe slightly different. I would love it if you could all click the link below and then 'like' on my photo and hopefully get me to Paris!

Met Gala 2014 - My favourite outfits

Well if you haven't heard all about the red carpet appearances at the Met Gala...then where have you been! This is possibly one of the biggest and best dates on the Hollywood Social calendar and it certainly lived up to the fashion expectation this year.

My question is, who wore it best and rightfully earn a space on my blog post?

Read on to find out!

Cara Delevingne

Is there any event this girl doesn't rock a serious fashion look at?!

Wearing this outfit to an event such as this is a huge risk but one that Cara pulls off effortlessly. Channelling the popular monochrome look, these Stella McCartney separates are simple yet so stylish, this is one sexy, sultry look but still doesn't give too much away. Her hair is curled enough for added drama and swept to one side to show off this beautiful ensemble.

Blake Lively

This gorgeous Gucci dress looks stunning on Blake. The champagne colour makes this dress appear subtle but the detailing is anything but! It also gives a nod to Grecian style with the long train from the back of the neck. Blake's hair is the classic 'Hollywood' waves, meaning she can show off the fabulous plunging neck line of this dress.

Suki Waterhouse

This has to be one of my favourite red carpet looks of the entire event! Suki is wearing a Burberry dress and jewellery is by Anita Ko. Everything about this dress is just amazing! The ruffle detail on this dress is exquisite and makes it look as if it goes on forever. Even with this much detail, it isn't over the top at all. This because of the pale pink and gold colour, which suits Suki's skin tone perfectly.

These are just 3 of my favourite looks of the night - how I would love to be able to pull any one of them off! Below are a few more images of outfits I liked.

What do you think of the red carpet looks? Who looked the best and who maybe should have looked in the mirror a bit more?
