Handmade Burger Company Manchester

Burger and American themed places seem to be popping up all around Manchester city centre at the moment, so of course I had to try one and I went for Handmade Burger Company on Deansgate.

Review of Handmade Burger Company, Manchester

This was originally arranged as a blogger lunch/meetup but didn't really work out as that - it ended up being just me and the lovely Ellie from Eleanor-Graceful ! Saying this, we had such a nice meal and got to chat all things blogging and share tips which is always a good thing! We were greeted by the friendly staff as we walked in and shown to our table where we were also given a few suggestions of what to order off the huge menu. There was sooooo much choice and everything sounded amazing! After a long discussion of what to order, I went for the BBQ chicken burger with mozzarella cheese as an extra and a side of home made chips.

How amazing is this burger?! It tasted as good as it looks trust me! Filled with 2 chicken breast pieces, red onion, tomato, bbq sauce, mozzarella cheese and a huge lettuce leaf, this has to be one of the biggest burgers I have ever had and it was cooked perfectly. Also, these chips were so nice! I personally love big, chunky, homemade style chips and you get so many in one portion, it was safe to say I couldn't eat them all even though I desperately wanted to! I love how everything was presented in the brown paper - it felt really 'American' and laid back. In fact the whole atmosphere of Handmade Burger Co was just that, relaxed and you didn't have to worry about what mess you got in eating the huge burgers - and yes that did happen HA! In so places, you constantly have the staff coming up to you and checking if you food is ok/more drinks/more food etc, but we were just left to eat and chat which I personally loved for that type of restaurant.

I honestly can't wait to go back and work my way through the menu - I desperately want to try one of the pitta burgers and the sweet potato fries which Ellie had.
Love Laura x
