Lancome Juicy Shaker

If you haven't seen the new Lancôme Juicy Shakers all over social media, where have you been?! In my opinion, these are going to be THE product of the SS16 season, as they not only look amazing, they are bang on trend!

Lancôme have been inspired by their 90's Juicy Tube and their original cocktail shaker lipstick and have combined the two to create the new Juicy Shaker. The formula is a pigmented oil, so you need to give it a good shake before using as the two elements can separate if it's been stood for a while. It leaves a sheer tint of colour to your lips and, as it is an oil, leaves them feeling so soft and moisturised. While it does look like a lip gloss, there is absolutely no stickiness and it doesn't get everywhere when applying it thanks to the innovative applicator. This is something I have never seen before and kind of hard to describe! It is like a sponge, but a lot softer and sort of feels velvety. The shape, which is slightly pointed, makes application so easy, even without a mirror! They only problem with it being so sheer, is that you do need to reapply after drinking/eating.

The packaging is so cute and really does look exactly like a cocktail shaker. You can see the exact colour without having to open it up and the silver top makes it look extra special and fits in with the Lancôme brand. I even love the silver, holographic box it come in!

The shade I got is Vanilla Pop, a darkish pink with red undertones which is super wearable and brings out the natural colour of your lips. The best thing about it? Has to be the smell which is, of course vanilla! Not normally a small I like but it's not too sickly sweet or over-powering. Each of the 14 shades in the Juicy Shaker collection smell exactly like their name, which is so unique. At £18 each, they are a little pricy, but I am yet to find something that rivals it and have used mine none stop since I got it.

Have you tried any of the shades from the Juicy Shaker collection? Or even just from Lancôme?
Love Laura x
