Bohemian Chic Minerals

One thing I love finding from new beauty brands, is lipstick and I'm the first to admit that I have way too many, but still buy more -ooops! Since one of my friends became vegan, I find that I tend to notice what is in things more and that included cosmetics - did you know that a lot of the most popular brands are cruelty free? This mainly stand for the more international brands as they can't be sold in some countries without having being tested on animals. When Bohemian Chic Minerals * asked me if I would like to try out one of their lipsticks, oh course I said yes!

Bohemian-Chic-Minerals-Lipstick-Review

This is my first experience with a completely vegan makeup item and honestly, I wasn't completely sure what I was going to make of it but I have been presently surprised with this lipstick. It is a gorgeous shimmy nude that looks so natural and while it isn't full coverage from one swipe, it is buildable to get the colour you want.

One thing I have found is that it feels quite hard and solid when your applying it to your lips but, once it is on it feels quite creamy and lightweight. Also, as it is quite solid it doesn't seem to wear down quite as much as other lipsticks I've tried before, so it would probably last longer and with it keeping the point, you don't necessarily need a lip liner with it. The packing is simple but chic (goes with the brand name right?!) and I think it's so cute that it comes in a little gift bag type thing - something I've never seen a lipstick come in before.

Have you ever tried a vegan lipstick before or any other makeup item?
Love Laura x

    1. You honestly wouldn't know it was vegan unless you looked at the ingredients!
