Going Wireless With Lee Stafford + GIVEAWAY!

Although I love using my straighteners, curlers and obviously hairdryer the long, salon length wires can be so unmanageable at times, from getting knotted up to just getting in the way - we all know the feeling, right girls! So, can you imagine my excitement when Lee Stafford's cordless straighteners * dropped through my letterbox?

First off, how good of an idea is this and also so unique! By not having a wire connected to the straighteners, it makes them a lot lighter therefore making them easier to hold, especially if you have long hair - we've all experienced that arm ache right?! It also means that you don't get tangled up in the wire or having it get knotted up every time, so it makes them quicker to use too. The plates are quite slim but glide effortlessly through and don't tug on any fine hairs which is one of the things that put me off straightening my hair too much as I have quite a bit of baby hair. As they are tourmaline ceramic plates they help to eliminate any frizz to leave hair so soft you wont want to stop touching it!

They are so simple to use as you just put the straighteners into the base, which is then connected to the mains and turn both on. They take around 5mins to reach the max temp of 230C - a lot hotter than I would normally use but they are set to this one temperature which is one of the draw backs. You can use these for up to 20 mins before you have to put them back in the base to heat up again and I find this is long enough to do most of my hair, but even if it's not, it only take a couple of minutes to reach full heat again.

As they are coated a type of rubber, it makes them easy to hold and there is certainly no worry about them slipping out of your hand - no more carpet burns here! (You've done that too right? It's not just me?!) One thing I do wish they had, (along with being able to choose the temperature) is a 'clamp' to how the straighteners shut. This would make the heat up quicker and also a lot safer when they are in the base. The base is also coated in the same material and both are the classic Lee Stafford hot pink and they are certainly eye catching and pretty hard to loose etc. These straighteners would also be good to take away with you, as they are small and light and they come with both a heat resistant pad and small bag to store everything in.

Anyway enough of me chatting on about how amazing these are, why don't you find out for yourself?! That's right, you can enter below to win your very own Lee Stafford Cordless Straighteners and see for yourself what all the fuss is about! Ends 20th April.
