Book Review || Last Survivor By Tony Park

A priceless plant, a rare African cycad thought to be extinct and prized by collectors, has been discovered, then stolen.

Joanne Flack, widowed and broke, is the prime suspect for the crime. While supposedly hiding out in London she single-handedly foils a terrorist plot, killing a lone-wolf gunman.

Former mercenary turned CIA contractor, Sonja Kurtz, uncovers a link between the missing plant and the terrorist who tried to kill Joanne. The US Government thinks that if it can find the missing cycad it can foil an attack to rival 9-11.

Hot on Joanne's trail is retired US Fisheries and Wildlife Department special agent Rod Cavanagh who knows his plants and knows his target - he's her former lover.

Joanne is a member of the Pretoria Cycad and Firearms Appreciation Society. She, Sonja and Rod enlist the help of this group of ageing gardeners and gun nuts to find a plant worth a fortune and the traitor in their midst who is willing to kill for it.

Jolie Beauty

Recently, I've really got into using both blush and contour powders - both are something I've never really used before but I've been quite liking how my makeup looks with both. I was so excited when these powders from Jolie Beauty dropped through my letter box, not only because these shades are aimed towards fair skin, but also because they are a brand I've never used before.

an upcoming wedding. But she felt trapped. A few months before the big day, ignoring the warnings
from her family, she abandoned her life and fled to the other side of the world in a bid for freedom.
But when her mother unexpectedly falls ill, Charlie has to cut her trip short. She flies home, but by
the time she gets to the hospital, it’s too late.

Her mother is gone, but she’s left a mystery behind. Why did she buy a canal boat, and where did
the money for it come from? As Charlie attempts to work through her grief and pick up the pieces of
