What could be better than receiving a gorgeous piece of jewellery though the letter box? The answer - not much! After finding Happiness Boutique on instagram (my all-time favourite place for finding new brands!) and getting in contact with them, I was given the opportunity to choose an items and I got the Layered Angel Statement Necklace *. This is a gold, 3 chain layered necklace with a single angel wing pendant. I am so in love with the necklace and it is so easy to wear and dress either up or down.

Mermaid Lids at DVF #NYFW15

One of my favourite make up looks from New York Fashion Week was from Diane von Furstenberg catwalk show. Channelling the spirit of Fortuna, the goddess of luck for her SS16 collection it is easy to see how this has been copied over from the clothes to the makeup. Each model graced the catwalk with goddess-like makeup, consisting of blue and green eyeshadow to create a mermaid look paired with nude, glossy lips. Such an amazing look and good for all skin tones and what is even better is how easy it is to re-create.
As I loved this look so much, I decided to have a go myself - read on to see how I did it and what I used!


M&M Chewy Cookie Pie

I got so many lovely comments and people asking how I made this, so I though I would do a post for you all. This is such a simple recipe to make this delicious treat - you will have trouble not eating it all in one sitting!

170g softened butter

50g caster sugar

#StayFitDontQuit - First Spin Class

As part of Get The Label's #StayFitDontQuit campaign, I am taking part in spinning classes for the duration of September and I recently went to my first class at Spin Factory in Manchester city centre. I actually surprised myself and really, really enjoyed the class. Honestly didn't think I would write that sentence!

Bell Cosmetics Mascara

As I have said before, mascara is my absolute must beauty product so I was so excited when this mascara* by Bell Cosmetics cutesy of Beauty Crowd Pro dropped through my letter box! This is a mascara with a difference, as it is hypoallergenic. This means that the ingredients are less likely to cause an allergic reaction. I have to say, it has made a difference to my eyes even though I have never had any sort of reaction to mascara. It has stopped them watering quite so much, meaning it stays on a lot better and longer - no more panda eyes!

Bloggers Festival London 2015

One of the little things that comes along with being a blogger is the events and I was lucky enough to be invited by the lovely Scarlett to the #bloggersfestival held in the ever so beautiful Conrad London St James Hotel. With its marble entrance and gorgeous spiral staircase, it was a bloggers dream!



Makeup Revolution Purple Lipstick

Lipstick is defiantly one of my makeup essentials - to me, the correct colour/finish can make your lips stand out and can just 'finish' off your outfit. So, with this in mind, I am always on the lookout for new colours to try, as it is the one part of my makeup I like to make bold at times! Therefore, I was so excited to see this purple lipstick from Makeup Revolution when I was last in Superdrug. The shade is called 'Depraved' and is from their 'Amazing lipstick' collection which is also part of the 'scandalous lipstick' pack.

I have previously done a post on purple lipstick here (was one of my first posts!), but this is a completely different shade - a lot more purple. While it does feel slightly oily when applying, after blotting and reapplying it doesn't look it and does completely cover your lips without being blotchy. You can also put some translucent powder over the top to achieve a matte finish of this is what you prefer without it drying out your lips - I have to say this is what I personally do, as I prefer that finish.

What makes this lipstick even more amazing is the price £1! It has such a high quality formula for the price - I would happily pay more. The tube doesn't look cheap at all, although I would prefer it without the colour shown on the end as I feel it would make it look for high end.



I would defiantly recommend having a look at Makeup Revolution as they have such a huge makeup range which also have shades that you may not normally find in a high-street beauty brand.

#StayFitDontQuit Campaign With Get The Label

Fitness is something I have always been interested in and that is why I am so excited to be taking part in GetTheLabel's #StayFitDontQuit campaign thought-out September and getting the chance to try out a new fitness class - spinning!
If you haven't heard of the campaign or seen it on social media, let me explain. So many people only take part in fitness classes during the summer (bikini) season when, in reality, they should be doing it throughout the year and staying fit. This is where GetTheLabel's campaign comes in to encourage people to not quit those classes and go and hide under big jumpers. After all, fitness and good health go hand-in-hand!
