To me, Sundays - especially the evenings - have always been about getting ready for the week ahead weather that be sorting your bag out, getting outfits sorted for each day of the following week or, like me using it as a pamper and relaxing day! Of course, the routine has changed over the years and has gone from Sunday dinner, TV and bed to including all manner of beauty treatments, including my new favourite body scrub, Scrub Love *!
My Sundays always start with going up to see my horse and, weather depending, going on a hack out in the gorgeous countryside for a few hours. To me there is nothing more relaxing - even with a Thoroughbred horse! (If your not horsey, they can be a bit frizzy, strong and spooky at times!) As I'm sure you can imagine, after this there is nothing more I look forward to then a good plate of food and of course it has to be a Sunday dinner - who else has to have 2 Yorkshire puddings!?
After eating all that food, I spend the rest of the afternoon taking blog photos and drafting posts while having a cuddle and play with my puppy and then going to feed my horse. Once I'm back home again, it's pamper time which includes washing all the dirt of the day off and applying a face mask while soaking in the bath. Now, this is where Scrub Love comes in!
I have used a few coffee scrubs in the past and loved them, but they have all had fruit essence included in them. The Scrub Love scrub I was kindly sent is Mint Temptation - how amazing is that and I can tell, you it smells almost good enough to eat! As well as containing the obvious ground coffee, there is also a number of oils included peppermint which not only gives the scent but it helps to keep pores clear and has anti bacterial and anti inflammatory properties. This, along with the added tea tree oil - a natural antiseptic - makes this scrub perfect for skin prone to break outs. Of course, every ingredient is organic, natural AND 100% British!
I have found this scrub to be up there with one of the best I have tried and it left my skin feel super soft and smooth for longer and the peppermint and tea tree oil combination is what I feel gives it the edge over the others. The packaging - how cute is it and why can't all brands use this look?! I'm a firm believer that if something looks good one the first impression, the inside is going to be just as amazing! It also came in the cutest envelope which made it look super expensive but still affordable if that makes sense? It also didn't come in a load of packaging which I think links to the organic part, you know, helping the environment by only using what is actually needed.
I would fully recommend trying out this scrub and if mint isn't your thing, they also do Original and Coconut variations but I'm pretty sure I will just stick to the amazing mint one! Have you ever tried a coffee scrub and which one of these are you going to choose?

I've never tried a coffee scrub before! Always wanted that Frank one :) So good that it hasn't got microbeads and that people are really realising how damaging they are to the environment. One of my favourite scrubs uses sugar and ground peach stone and it's so effective!

I think this is the best one I've tried and the fact that it's completely natural is so good and it has no effects on the environment
DeleteI have never used a coffee scrub but I hear a lot of bloggers raving about them. The packaging is awesome and I assume that with the addition of the peppermint it must smell amazing. Glad it worked out for you.
