Bean Burst Grapefruit Blend

I love having a body scrub as part of my skincare routine, especially one that has coffee included, so I was so excited when Bean Burst * popped through my letter box. Even more exciting was the inclusion of grapefruit, which is one of my favourite fruits and I was interested in how it would come across in a body scrub.

First things first, how cute is the bag?! When your trying a new product, I always think that if the packaging looks good it puts you in the frame of mind that the product will be too and you'll be all ready to give it an honest test. I love how simple the design is and that the border of the sticker relates to the blend of the scrub.

Now, onto the contents and when you first open the bag, the smell is gorgeous! It does smell mainly of coffee but you do get the undertones from the grapefruit. The scent also last for a few hours after you've used it, so my bathroom smelt amazing, almost good enough to eat. When you first touch the scrub, it feels quite soft and not very scrub-like - normally the ones I use feel very grainy to the touch. However, once you actually start using this on your skin, you can feel the grains of coffee scrubbing at your skin and almost feel the dead skin being taken away, ok that sounds a little weird but you get my point! I would also say that a little goes a long way, so a couple of handfuls was enough for my entire body meaning that this scrub would last you a while.

Afterwards, my skin was left so super soft and more important, spot/redness free even on my back, which is one of my problem areas. I think this was down to the inclusion of the grapefruit and essential oils, which are known to be good for your skin. One thing to remember is that your bath/shower will get a little messy, as the scrub does have a tendency to get everywhere! It does clean up really easily though, so you don't have to worry about it staining your perfectly white bathroom.

If you are after something to leave your skin silky soft and smelling amazing, especially if you like a coffee and grapefruit blend, then I would defiantly recommend Bean Burst to you!

Have you ever tried a coffee scrub?
Love Laura x
