Kiss Featherlight False Lashes

One thing I hate about false lashes, other than the awkward fight to apply them (more on this later) is the weight of them, but Kiss* have designed these amazing lashes that are literally feather-light so you can completely for get you are wearing them.

I was sent two different pairs to test out - 'sultry', which are very natural looking and 'vamp', which are bigger and have more volume. Both very different, but as I don't tend to wear lashes all that often, I was so excited to try out both pairs and they certainly didn't disappoint! First off, the packaging. It is pretty simple but I think this makes it look way more classy and upmarket, especially with only a couple of similar colours being used. This also makes the lashes stand out on the shelf against all the other false lashes brands.

The lashes themselves are so light, both to just hold and when applied. I did think that this would make them impossible to apply, especially as a complete false lash novice (normally my sister does them for me!), but I did find these quite easy to do - after a couple of tries but I am still learning and not a fault of the lashes at all. As they have a tapered end, they look so real and blend well with your natural lashes. Also, the actual 'band' is clear, not black like most false lashes, which I think makes they look even more natural and if your not that good at applying them, it's not as obvious if they are not quite right! The glue included is good and does hold the lashes in place all day, even in the wind and doesn't take forever to get tacky like some do.

Kiss do a huge range of different lashes in the feather-light, Haute Couture, true volume and blooming, which all feature the tapered end technology and clear band. There is defiantly a false lash for everyone and every occasion from this brand! They are also easy to buy and are sold in Boots, Superdrug and selected Tesco's and the price is reasonable, starting at just over £5.50.

Have you tried Kiss false lashes and what is your favourite brand of lashes to use?

  1. I never wear false lashes, I just can't get the hang of applying them! I love that these have a clear band, that sounds like it would really help me :)

  2. I haven't tried these but I'm always on the lookout for affordable lashes. Don't worry- everyone struggles to apply lashes. After a lot of practice I can just about do it though I did glue my friends eyelid together once when helping apply hers lol. Lightweight lashes are ideal though!
