Kate Moss for Topshop

Finally, after 4 years, the supermodel that is the one and only Kate Moss has launched her new collection for Topshop. This is one of the high street fashion worlds most highly anticipated collection of the year and is full of festival-inspired clothing - just in time for all those festival coming up!

Channelling a seventies look along with Kate's signature laid back, rock 'n' roll look, this collection has something for everyone. There is also a massive nod to vintage as a lot of the items have fringing and sequins included. This is all said to have been inspired by what is in Kate's own wardrobe and things she enjoys wearing. This is shown especially in the fringed jacket which is said to have been inspired by the jacket she has worn to Rolling Stones concerts - also know as her 'gigging jacket'.

The launch was held at the Oxford Street Topshop store where crowds were literally filling the streets to see the supermodel. Of course the model/designer took to the stage looking every inch the supermodel! Wearing a black and gold shimmery pant suit and the highest heels known to woman seemed overwhelmed by the response to the launch. Smiling and waving on stage, she was joined by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw where she said "I just want everyone to find something they love to wear." Just before leaving she added "Happy shopping!"

One of my favourite pieces from this collection is the Long Fringe Tassel Dress. This is something that can be worn so easily but is still stand out with fringe - a good way to update the classic LBD. Also, as it does have the long fringing, accessories aren't required as it would look too much - keep it simple with this and let the dress do that talking! It also gives a nod towards the rock 'n' roll look Kate Moss it known for.

Gothic Glam Lipstick

After buying so many bright red lipstick I thought it was time for a slight change. After a trip to my local Superdrug store and many testers covering my hand, I eventually decided on buying Collection Gothic Glam lipstick in Seduction.

The packaging is fairly simple and fits in with the rest of Collection's lipstick collection. The black make it look classy and modern and I love the gold - it adds to the glam! Also, the underside of the lipstick has the name of the shade and a colour sticker that corresponds. The tube clicks shut and is secure making it good for just throwing in your handbag.

This is a more 'vampy' shade of red, as it is a deep berry colour - very different to many other drugstore lipstick which I have seen and tested! This products last for 4 hours plus, only came off slightly while I was having lunch. This great for such a cheap product. The lipstick is also full of moisture and doesn't dry lips out in the slightest. They are quite creamy meaning they are easy to apply. However, I would use a lip brush to apply to make sure you entire lip is covered and to also get the shape of your cupids bow. I would also suggest using a lip liner as it is a strong colour and this will stop it 'feathering'.

I personally love this shade and have been wearing it no stop since I bought it. At only £2.99, I will be purchasing the other 2 in the Gothic Glam Collection!

What do you think of this lipstick? A shade you would wear?

Barry M Silk Nail Polish

As part of Barry M's spring collection there are the silk nail polishes. These come in 6 different shades which are all gorgeous! My first impression when I saw the bottles was that they would be just another thin shimmer effect collection but this was completely wrong - they are truly unique. They dry with a matte effect but still have the 'shimmer' without it looking cheap, which some of these types of nail polish can. It also dries so quickly means your nails can be done in a flash. I wouldn't recommend using a top coat with these nail polishes as it can give them a more pearl effect - the matte effect looks a lot better.

What do you think of these nail polishes? Favourite colour?
