M&M Chewy Cookie Pie

I got so many lovely comments and people asking how I made this, so I though I would do a post for you all. This is such a simple recipe to make this delicious treat - you will have trouble not eating it all in one sitting!

170g softened butter
50g caster sugar
150g light brown sugar
200g plain flour
1large egg
Plain chocolate chips
M&M's
Grease proof paper
Large cake tin/oven proof dish

Unbaked

Cooked!
Preheat the oven to 180 and prepare the tin by rubbing a little butter then pressing the grease proof paper in.

Mix the softened butter and both lots of sugar together until it resembles something close to bread crumbs.

Add an egg, chocolate chips, M&M's and flour a little at a time until it forms a dough. You may need to add a little water if it looks a little dry.

Put the dough into the pre-prepared tin and press it down. Press into the top the rest of the M&M's and chocolate chips.

Bake for 25-35 mins or until a light golden brown. Cover with tin foil after 20 mins to stop it going too brown but still slowing it to cook.

Remove from the oven and leave to cool for around 30mins then remove from the tin. If you want to eat warm, place a slice in the microwave.

Enjoy!

Hope you like this recipe - let me know how you do!
