Makeup Revolution 144 Palette

Makeup Revolution has become one of my absolute favourite drugstore brands - everything is super affordable and amazing quality, what more could you possibly ask for?! The fact that they have so many different eyeshadow palettes, both in size and shades is perfect and means there is one to suit everyone, but of course being a blogger I had to get the biggest one they offer with an amazing 144 shades!

When I ordered this, I honestly had no idea on what I would actually get size wise, but it is neither too big or too small and each pan is a decent size considering the amount of shades there are and they are the perfect size for brushes to get just the one shade your are after. I honestly love this palette and pretty much every shade I would use at some point! You also get a two sponger applicators which I think would be perfect if you are applying in a hurry or if you take it on holiday with you but don't take brushes. There is also a mirror but it is quite small considering the size of the palette - it would have definitely been better bigger.

Each eyeshadow is highly pigmented and feels so super soft, almost velvety which makes them so easy to apply and blend to achieve that perfect look. I would say that some of the shades are almost identical to some from the Naked 3 palette, particularly some of the browns and with the majority being matte but with a few shimmer shades, there is something for everyone. You can create a natural day look to a dark smoky eye! The one downside is you do get a bit of fallout, but if you remember to tap off the excess well from your brush you should be fine.

These are just a couple of the looks I've created using just this palette - I admit I'm not the best at eye shadows just yet but I'm learning! The middle is without a doubt my favourite and my go-to makeup look when I want something still natural and it is so easy to. As it is from Makeup Revolution, it is of course affordable - it's only £20 BUT I got it in their half price sale so it was only £10, how good is that for 144 different shades?!

Have you ever tried Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palettes and what did you think of them?
Love Laura x

  1. This is such a gorgeous palette, and at a great price! When I first saw it I was thinking it probably wouldn't be worth me having with all the blog shades, but for the price you can't really go wrong :)
