Cargo Cosmetics is a brand I tend to see a lot on instagram, mainly by American and Canadian based bloggers as this is where the brand is based, so it was safe to say I was intrigued by their products! Although they do sell a small selection of their products to UK based stores, I actually managed to pick up their Bronze eyeshadow palette in TK Maxx.
The 4 shades included are so gorgeous and are highly pigmented, as the swatches above show - apart from the first shade as it is quite pale! They also blend so easily together and are buildable, so you can either go quite subtle or all out smoky eye depending on the loo you're going for. One of my favourite parts about this palette is that each shade has it's 'use' stamped into it - so useful and practical for someone who maybe isn't sure which shade should go where on their eye, making it perfect for someone who is just getting into makeup, particularly eye looks. Two of the shades has a slight shimmer to them, but this completely adds to the bronze look and is what I would expect. I have also used these both with and without eye primer and I honestly think they last so much longer and don't crease if you simply use them on their own!
The box that the palette comes in is so unique. It feels like watercolour paper, which coincides with the image as that has been made to look like a watercolour/ink painting. This something I have never seen on makeup packing before and while I normally throw out the boxes, I am definitely keeping this one! The box and the lid of the palette also have the same metallic silver used for the logo, giving it a clear but simple link. The actual palette is in a plastic box with a flip lid. While this is nothing special, it feels strong so will protect the powders inside, even when its at the bottom of your handbag!
I honestly love everything about this little palette, from the gorgeous and blend-able shades to the actual box itself. I only wish more places sold Cargo Cosmetics so I could get more with different shades!
Have you ever tried anything from Cargo Cosmetics and what did you think?

I keep meaning to try Cargo, but jsut haven't found a product of theirs that stands out yet! But I like the look of this palette; compact, simple, but also has a good variety of my favorite shades!

They are an American brand which is only sold in very few selected shops but if you search around you can find it!
DeleteI've never used Cargo but this looks like a lovely palette! I particularly love the two shimmery colours. I'll have to keep an eye out in TK Maxx for some of these products!
