Welcome to the first part in my new series, The Scent Files! This is where I can tell you all about my love of perfumes (let's face it, I have a lot!) from high street to luxury, high end ones, so you are sure to find out some of my favourites and also some new-ins. The first in the series being Accessorize's Lovelily perfume. * This is somewhere I always used to shop in, but I never knew they sold fragrances, so I was so excited when this arrived!
I have to start off with the packaging as it has the most gorgeous bottle design I have ever seen! The lid has a flower design pressed into it which makes it look and feel very summery and fresh, which of course links with the Lovelily name! As the bottle is clear and only the pump and flower being pink, it's girly without being over the top so it still appeals to everyone. I would like to point out, the liquid inside is actually clear and I have no idea why it's shown up yellowy in every image! Even the box is gorgeous with it's jungle feel design and of course the pink, it would make a lovely gift for someone who likes fragrances.
It is definitely a scent perfect for spring/summer as it is quite sweet and fruity - something I tend to go for in perfumes, so it is right up my street! This part of the scent comes from the inclusion of orange and raspberry, along with sweet vanilla which I think always adds a little something to a fragrance. Once applied to the skin, it does smell quite sweet but once it settles, the vanilla and fruitiness comes through and this is what lasts all day. I could still smell it in the evening after wearing it all day, so you don't have to worry too much about re-spritzing. As it is a perfume, it is quite strong so only a little is needed, which also means that this bottle will last you ages, especially since it's 75ml!
Accessorize has truly surprised me with this fragrance, as not only did I have no idea they even did perfume, it is honestly so gorgeous smelling and I have been wearing it constantly since I got it and even my mum has been stealing it to wear! It is also such a gorgeous looking bottle that looks amazing on my dressing table.
Have you tried this perfume and is there any you would like to see in this series?
