Bioderma Sebium Skincare

When I fall in love with something, I fall hard and in this case, it's with skincare products! If you are one of my regular readers you will have no doubt guessed that by now but you seem to enjoy them, so here is another. I was very kindly sent 2 products from the popular French brand Bioderma, which is now available in the UK. I was actually looking at these in Boots the day before they arrived!

Bioderma-Skincare-Review

Bioderma have 11 ranges, each for different skin types and concerns so there is definitely something for everyone. The products I have been trying out are from the Sebium range and these are specially formulated for oily, spot prone skin which is what I would class my skin as and I have been testing these out for just over a month (as I do with all skincare products), purely so I can give you a full and honest review of what I think of them. The Sebium range includes Fluidactiv patented sebo-correcting complex, which helps to keep pores clean and limits the sebaceous secretion - this is basically the excess oil production.

Bioderma Sebium H2O

A specially formulated miceller water for oily skin that removes all traces of makeup and dirt from your face. After using this, my skin feels so clean but not dry or tight as I have found some miceller do, so I am so happy with it - oh, and it even removes waterproof mascara! As my skin can be quite sensitive, this doesn't irritate and leaves it feeling very fresh, alongside the scent. It is also gentle enough for everyday use and can be used both morning and evening to gently cleanse and I found a little goes a long way. This H2O also comes in 4 different sizes with the 100ml (the one I have) being the smallest and perfect for travel, up to 500ml size.

Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner

Part moisturiser, this correcting cream does exactly what it says on the tin, or tube in this case! It improves the look of skin from one use and makes large pores look and feel smaller and less visible, giving you that flawless skin of dreams! As it also mattifier, it makes it the perfect base for makeup and I have found my foundation applies such a lot easier and doesn't go caky at all. I have found this works best when applied to my cheeks, forehead and nose/T-zone, as this is where I get the most excess oil and it lasts a full 24hours without me even having to worry about a shiny face!

The packing is also so fresh and clean looking, it really does link in with the products themselves and I love that Bioderma use a different accent colour for each of the different ranges they do, with the Sebium range using a fresh green. I have really enjoyed using both of these products and I will definitely be repurchasing the Pore Refiner as I have seen such a difference in not only my skin, but also in my makeup when it is underneath.

Have you ever tried anything from Bioderma and what did you think of it?
Love Laura x

    1. You should keep using it as party of your daily routine otherwise it will 'unfix' your pores
