L'Oreal Infallible Paint Collection

L'Oreal is one brand I go back to time and time again as their products are not only amazing, but their products seem to suit my skin rather than cause breakouts - this especially goes for their foundations! A while ago, they released their 'paint' collection which also links in with their 'infallible' range, so as you can guess, I've had these photos for a while and completely forgot about them until I was having a sort through!

L'Oreal Eyeshadow Paint

This was definitely the product I was most interested to try, as I had never seen anything like it before! It has a doe foot applicator and the formula is similar to a liquid lipstick but thinner which makes it glide onto your eyelids so smoothly with absolutely no tugging. The shade I have is Eternal White, which is quite pearly with gold shimmer so you do need a couple of layers for it to fit with the loud part of the campaign! Saying this, it is perfect for an everyday look all over the lid or even adding some black to create a gorgeous smoky look. As it dries to a powder, it lasts for hours without budging or smudging (like my little rhyme there?!) and it also makes it so easy to blend!

L'Oreal Infallible Blush Paint

As I have said in previous posts, I've never really made friends with blusher - images of me having those round doll like circles freak me out! 'Pink Picasso' is the perfect natural pink shade and as it is in a chubby stick form, I found it so easy to use as I can precisely place it exactly where I want and, as it is so pigmented, a little goes a long way. I found it so easy to blend out with my finger and as it changes to a powder formula, it is long lasting! You can also build it up if you really want a pop of colour.

L'Oreal Lip Paint Matte

The shade I got is 'Hollywood Beige' which is a dusty nude and with it being a very pigmented formula, you only need one swipe and your lips are perfectly covered! As it has a teardrop applicator, it makes it so easy to really define your lips without the need for a lip liner. One thing I didn't get with this however, is that it claims to be matte, but I would say it is more of a velvet type formula as it doesn't try completely matte, there is still a little shine. Saying this, it isn't drying at all, in fact it feels quite creamy.

L'Oreal Nail Polish

Normally, the nail polish I go for is actual gel polish, so I was certainly intrigued to how a gel effect nail polish would pair up against and if it would actually last the same amount of time. I certainly wasn't disappointed as this lasted for just over 2 weeks (actual gel polish lasts 3 weeks) without chipping, peeling or fading, even without reapplication of the top coat. The shade I got is 'Painty Pink' which is the perfect bright/Barbie pink with a high shine and look so expensive and like you have just been to the salon! I love that you get both the colour and the top coat in one, rather than having to buy them separately and they are also pretty quick drying but I did use a lap to speed it up as I have no patience!

Overall, I have really enjoyed using products from L'Oreal's Infallible paint range and, as they have so many different shades of each product, there is definitely something for everyone for every loud look you want to create! Have you tried anything from this range and what did you think of it?
Love Laura x

  2. I've been admiring the new paint range every time I go into Boots to pick up a prescription! So many great products. I'm really excited by the Lip Paints, though I can only use one of the two types. Unfortunately, I can't remember whether it's the Mattes or Laquers that I'm not allergic to the ingredients of! Xx
