Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Divine Lips

A girl can never have too many lipsticks. With so many different shades, formulas and brands to choose from, no two are ever going to be exact my the same. A lot of you (especially if you follow me on Twitter/Instagram) will know that I love lipsticks and own a lot but I still buy more! The Joan Collins lipsticks have been all over social media and they very kindly sent me two gorgeous shades to try out.

The two shades I have been trying are Suzy Star, which is an orangey red and Bella, a gorgeous light pink shades. These are some of the creamiest lipsticks I have ever tried and they feel so soft and light on your lips! This also means they are not drying in the lightest, in fact they contain hyaluronic acid which helps lips to feel super soft and deeply nourished, even when you have taken the lipstick off. Part of Dame Joan Collins idea behind the brand is to create products that not only look amazing, but also protect and care for the skin. They have also been tested to improve hydration levels in lips after continuous use for 30 days. Both lipstick are highly pigmented with just one swipe from the bullet, but can look a little sheer, so I would recommend doing one coat, blotting then applying again.

The packaging and the box look so classy and high end - at £18 each they are at the higher end of the scale and I would class them as a luxury brand. The tube has a retro feel to it and is a little different as they are gold - they do look similar to the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks. The packaging makes they feel so much more expensive then they actually are, which likes up nicely with the product inside. The lipsticks are available at Marks & Spencer, both online and in large stores, so they are so easy to get hold of and they also have a few more products from the range on sale too.

Have you tried anything from Joan Collins' makeup collection yet and what did you think of it?

  2. This is the first time I've heard of this brand but those lipsticks look really lovely, especially the more rose toned one. The packaging kind of reminds me of Charlotte Tilbury!
